Trouble shooting Clocks
Does your Paw Print
Clock not seem to work? Sometimes the clock hands get bent or
loose during shipping or as you carry your clock home, resulting
in a clock that doesn't tell time. It's easy to fix!
Look at the hands of the clock.
Are they caught on each other so they cannot pass? Gently unhook
them from each other.
Look to see if they are loose. If the hands are loose you can
tighten them easily.
The hour hand is just pushed onto the
stem of the clock movement. If it is loose, use your thumbs to
push it back snug on the stem.
The minute hand is held on the clock
movement stem by a small nut that is on top of the hand. You can
tighten the nut with a small pair of needle nose pliers.
The sweep hand is just pushed into the
stem on top of the nut.
Once you are sure the hands are all tightened, and seated
properly, you can gently bend the hands upward so that
they will not catch on each other.
Give these methods a try. If you still can't get your clock to
work, contact us. |
